Follow on Google News | INACSL Announces the 2019-2020 Board of DirectorsBy: INACSL INACSL welcomes Janet Willhaus, PhD, RN, as President-Elect (2019-2020). Dr. Willhaus is an associate professor at Boise State University where she is the coordinator of both the Simulation and Learning Labs and the Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Simulation Program. Elizabeth (Liz) Robison, EdD, RN, MSN, CNE, CHSE, joins the Board as Vice President for Finance. Robison is a Professor at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida, and the Simulation Center Coordinator for the ASN program, which has included simulation facilitation in all levels of the ASN program. Trisha (Leann) Horsley, PhD, RN, CHSE, CNE, is newly elected as the Vice President for Programs. Dr. Horsley is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean at South Dakota State University College of Nursing in Sioux Falls, SD. Marian Luctkar-Flude RN, PhD, CCSNE, will bring her expertise to the Board as Vice President for Research. Dr. Luctkar-Flude is an Assistant Professor at Queen's University School of Nursing and Co-President of the Canadian Alliance of Nurse Educators using Simulation (CAN-Sim). Continuing to serve on the INACSL Board of Directors are: Cynthia Foronda, RN PhD, CNE, CHSE, ANEF, President; Bette Mariani, PhD, RN, Immediate Past President; Sabrina Beroz, DNP, RN, CHSE-A, Vice President of Membership; Michelle Aebersold, RN, PhD, FAAN, Vice President of Operations; Benjamin Smallheer, PhD, RN, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC, CCRN, CNE, Vice President of Outreach; and Suzanne Campbell, Ph.D., RN (US/Canada), IBCLC, WHNP, Vice President for International Affairs. "As I begin my term as President, I am excited to collaborate and learn together with such talented individuals for purposes of raising the profession and improving the science of simulation in nursing."
