Taking Mental Health Awareness Month By The Reigns by Sharing Truth
Wounded Healer tells a story of a young girl transitioning into adulthood after years of trauma and other issues such as: childhood illness, teenage parenting, domestic violence, and single parenting. The author, Shamanda, shares the story through the lens of a wounded healer and a therapist who has experienced life challenges that parallel those of her clients. Wounded Healer puts a face to the notion that one can overcome poverty, neglect, and abuse, yet become successful and emotionally healthy. With all that she has worked so hard to accomplish, Shamanda is excited to share with the world her new book, website and success during Mental Health Awareness Month. Wounded Healer is set to release on June 20, 2019.
