MEMPHIS, Tenn. - May 13, 2019 - PRLog -- Inspired by the leadership of the Memphis City Council members lead by the questions and comments of  Chairman Kemp Conrad and Gerre Currie , Daughters of Zion dba William & Johnson Career College, after obtaining instant approval by the Tennessee Department of Health has made history for Memphis, Tennessee and its CNA program. Memphis has become the first city in America to have one of its Certified Nursing Assistance Programs to have Narcan Opioid Overdose Reversal Training as apart of its curriculum.

More people died from opioid overdose in 2018 in Memphis and Shelby County than those that died from the same cause in the entire state of Mississippi. Daughters of Zion's Opioid Free Vision 2023 is working with visionary leaders within the city, county, and state to bring an end to the opioid and prescription drug abuse that's plaguing not only our city and state but the entire country.
