China Tariffs Raised Along With Import Related Questions

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - May 13, 2019 - PRLog -- At 12:01 a.m. EST on Friday, May 10, 2019, tariffs on the previously taxed 10% tranche were effectively raised to 25% within hours following the U.S. and China trade talks in Washington D.C. last Thursday.

The additional tariffs are only imposed on items found in the third tranche and that shipped from China on or after May 10, 2019. Negotiations are still on-going and there is some hope that a deal will be reached prior to these goods being impacted on arrival.
