Her four-book series entitled PORTAL TO THE LAND OF FAE tells about the enchanting World of Elves and Fairies. These books include
FLOWER FAIRIES, FAIRYTALE FAIRIES, SECRETS OF THE FAIRIES, and MYSTICAL FAIRIES. Judy's artwork is sparkling and unique, accompanied by wonderful stories and poems about this enchanting realm. Her PORTAL TO THE LAND OF FAE books are sure to delight all who enjoy the World of Fantasy.
Judy has two other ranges of books. Her Come Play With Me book series is designed to give readers high quality illustrated storybooks in full color. They also include some delightful interactive bonus pages. These books include fun filled things, such as How to Draw pages, coloring pages and recipes, etc.
Her two most recent books in this Come Play With Me series have a Bunny theme. Her illustrations are soft, sweet, and colorful, reminiscent of Beatrix Potter. The first one is entitled WHAT DO BUNNIES DO ALL DAY? This delightful tale will encourage children to experience the awe and appreciation of nature. It tells the story of a little bunny's first adventure.
The second bunny book in this series, LEARN TO DRAW BUNNY AND HIS FRIENDS, is a companion book to Judy's book WHAT DO BUNNIES DO ALL DAY? In it she shows easy to do, attractive, and fun ways to learn to draw Little Bunny's animal and flower friends from the book about his first adventure.
Some of the animals she shows how to draw are rabbits, frogs, butterflies and turtles. Then daffodils, daisies, and buttercups are several of the flowers she describes drawing, all in three easy steps.
Another in Judy's Come Play With Me book series is entitled THE STAR. In this book, Judy illustrates the entire famous TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR poem, written by Jane Taylor. In Judy's interpretation of this beloved poem, a little girl, gazing upon an evening star, falls into a lovely fantasy world. Then she flies through the sky, where she experiences a delightful dream-like adventure. There she meets the friendly Man in the Moon, a little Star Child, and some adorable little fantasy animals, all playing in the fluffy evening clouds.
Judy's Joyful Art Coloring Book series is a selection of high quality grayscale coloring books. The first book is entitled FANTASTIC CREATURES TO COLOR. Coming soon is another one called PEACEFUL PICTURES TO COLOR.
Judy is currently working on some more storybook Come Play With Me books. They include her original fairy tale entitled THE MAGIC QUILT, plus classic fairy tales HANSEL AND GRETEL and THUMBELINA.
Judy Mastrangelo hails from a fine art background, which makes her artwork stand out in the world of contemporary illustrated books. "Publishing my books is a wonderful opportunity to expose people to fine art illustration,"
