The idea behind the use of environmentally friendly promotional products is that they can be used for a wide variety of marketing campaigns. Typical clients include business and public sector organisations, charities, sports and social clubs.
The ECO Plants collection can also be used within schools and colleges as they can provide an educational benefit. The most common area for branding is the packaging the product is supplied within, which is also made from recycled materials, or the product container. Each plant and seed simply need to be planted, watered and given sunlight in order to germinate and grow. As well as seeds for grasses and flowers, there are seeds for herbs, salad tomatoes, fruits including strawberries and herbs such as chives.
"We've seen an increase in enquiries for eco-friendly promotional gifts over the last couple of years as clients want to market themselves with products aimed at raising environmental awareness," commented Dawn Koffler, Managing Director of Redbows Ltd. "We have always offered eco friendly products made from recycled or organically grown material, but these new plant and seed products take our range to an exciting new level."
In addition to the plant and seed range, Redbows also supplies a wide range of eco friendly products under its 'ECO' collection. Each of these products can be branded with a logo or supplied as plain stock items. Typical products include banners, bags, coasters, clothing, cosmetics, gadgets, key rings, lanyards, mouse mats, mugs, paper pads, pens, pencils, health & safety related, stationery, toys and water bottles. Many of the products make use of recycled plastics or paper that have been reclaimed for second product usage. Wooden pens and cloth items including bags and clothing are made from sustainability farmed and organic materials.
Dawn Koffler commented further, "We expect the market for our environmentally friendly products to grow substantially over the next few years as more clients turn towards promotional products that have less impact on their environment and can provide an educational message. Another benefit of these types of materials is that they are long lasting and there provide a longer life for a client marketing campaign and marketing message."
