ENCINITAS, Calif. - May 11, 2019 - PRLog -- June 1, Saturday -9pm, Ehlers is supporting through her art, to bring awareness and spread the word about the coral reef crisis. Currently, an unprecedented 23%, have died-off in the world's largest reef, the Great Barrier Reef. World-wide, the percentage is mounting and has been destroyed by climate change. Come learn more, and assist in bringing, into the forefront, the importance of our living reefs.

Exposure Film Labs creates films and brings campaigns that change the world. Their worldwide film work is comprehensive and educational. "The introduction of art is a wonderful medium to peek public interest, and we are all excited about this opportunity ", stated Exposure Film Labs.

The Ocean Agency aims to be different. "There are more than enough ocean science and conservation organizations out there... there just isn't enough support and investment for the critical work they do. Instead their mission is to be a catalyst for ocean conservation, using the powerful combination of new technology, media, and above all creativity to help support ocean conservation as a whole. "We are honored to provide support to Cheryl Ehlers, who is so dedicated to our cause.  It is individuals like herself that make a difference", stated The Ocean Agency.

Ehlers is a published artist whose artworks are bold, colorful, and expressionist, filled with emotion and movement. Motivated by watching the video, Chasing Coral, she began a one and half year journey of painting in support of the crisis. "At first, I was merely fascinated by the rainbow colors of coral reefs, and how they re-develop. It took my breath away, and then the reality sunk in, and was taken over by sadness as I watched coral dying. With these thoughts in my mind, the paintings took on a life of their own, and are filled with animals, creatures, and colors of coral and sea. You need to look deep inside the art to seek what is not seen at first glance, much like reef life. I found hope for the future of coral".
