BERKELEY, Calif. - May 10, 2019 - PRLog -- The 7th installment of The Girl Power! Women Working in the Music Industry Conference (Girl Power! Conference/Girl Power!) will be held on April 25, 2020, at The David Brower Center, 2150 Allston Way, in Berkeley, California.

Serving as the epicenter of the music industry for Bay Area women who work, or desire to work in the music industry, The Girl Power! Conference has tackled many topics and subtopics through changing themes each year such as: sexism, working in tech, entrepreneurship, networking, and leveling up for music artists.

In an effort to provide optimal programming, Girl Power! consulted surveys and conducted interviews, which revealed that most people who pursue careers in the music industry - whether professional or creative - do not do so for fortune and fame; they do so because it's an industry that they love, which provides a home for their passions, talents, and skills. Making a living in the music industry is the goal (or the real dream) for the vast majority - even those who start out seeking fortune and fame.

Making a living in the music industry is an underrated topic, and overdue discussion that's based in practicality. Its also the theme of the 2020 Girl Power! Conference. The 2020 Girl Power! Conference, dubbed Making a Living in the Music Industry, will feature more structured networking, collaboration time, the return of The Artist Lounge, and the new segment that resonated with last year's attendees, The Face the Music! song critiquing session.

"We are more excited about the 2020 conference than any conference we've done to date," says Kerry Fiero, lead producer of The Girl Power! Conference. "This conference will provide answers to the question of how to make a living in the music industry, for both professionals and music artists," she asserts convincingly. "Being able to work in the (music) industry they love is a common goal that unifies them both. We are going to provide the speakers and the curriculum to increase the possibilities of making a living a more attainable reality for all of our attendees."

Conference sponsorship and cross-promotional opportunities are available.
