Denver-based film company to launch crowdfunding campaign for film production
5280 Film Company is doing a crowdfunding campaign to obtain name talent for upcoming film.
"We believe that this story connects to so many people," says Cory Rowe, the creator and director of the film. Rowe came up with the story after spending time with his two children which one is diagnosed with severe autism and wondered what it would be like to not have his son just because of his disability. He stated that this story has been 7 years in the making and it's finally where it needs to be.
One of the company's goal of the crowdfunding campaign is to get recognizable talent attached to the film. But he isn't in this alone, Rowe takes pride in the team that is just as passionate about the story as he is. 5280 Film Company believes this story deserves to be told, especially the actions happening in today's world.
5280 Film Company will host an official launch party on May 26th at 303 Sports Grill in Littleton from 2-5pm and wants to invite the public and press to join them in celebration.
