On the day of launch, Bruce Collen, President and CEO of Same-Page.com LLP was quick to point out that CHOPAS offers many new features and enhancements but retains a modest price point of $199 per year for the Board of Director's Edition. "It was important to develop a portal that was affordable for small HOA/COA communities while still being cost-effective for larger condo properties and golf course communities," said Mr. Collen. "We will be sending emails to the hundreds of people who pre-registered in 2017-18 and will start scheduling configuration sessions beginning in May 15, 2019."

Outgoing Lighthouse Point Condo Association President Karl Grisom was part of the beta program for CHOPAS. "Getting new Board members up to speed, updating the owners' directory, tracking property management company activity, and providing oversight about on-going community issues makes serving on an Association Board of Directors a daunting assignment. The concept of a permanent portal where future Board members, staff and owners can access old contracts and follow community conversations was a real selling point.  No more re-inventing the wheel to solve a problem and no more missing files and email because past Board members kept everything on their personal laptop. The ability to pass the portal along to a different administrator gave me confidence that the association has a permanent home.
