Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale Latinx In Tech will help Broward Latin Entrepreneurs launch startups

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - May 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Techstars Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale: Latinx in Tech, sponsored by The Kapor Center for Social Impact, will be held from Friday May 31st to Sunday June 2nd 2019 at General Provision located in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

100 local Entrepreneurs will turn their ideas into startups in 54 hours
Techstars Startup Weekend Latinx in Tech brings exposure, awareness, and experiential learning about tech in the community. The event aims to inspire 100 Latinx entrepreneurs to breathe life into their ideas, identify and design technology solutions to problems disproportionately facing the U.S. Latinx community and learn how to bridge the gap from idea to customer validated prototype.

While the event main focus will be on tech solutions, all ideas that will help to create a future fueled by Latinx leadership and experiences are welcome. The event is also open to participants and volunteers of all ethnic backgrounds.

Marc Lissade, executive director of Startup Broward and lead organizer of several Startup Weekend events in Fort Lauderdale and Miami states: "After the successful completion of the Miami edition of Startup Weekend Latinx in Tech, it is now time to engage and activate the Broward Latinx community and ensure that South Florida remains the National leader in entrepreneurship diversity."
