Conjunctivitis and Virus, Bacteria, Allergen and Irritant Exposures Discussed in New Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
"According to the CDC, the main causes of pink eye include exposure to viruses, bacteria, allergens and irritants," said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. "Preventing conjunctivitis, when possible, is important as the CDC reports that children in U.S. public schools miss 3 million schools days each year due to the condition. Many adults also get pink eye."
This educational video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
