DENVER - July 1, 2019 - PRLog -- "GO FOR LANDING" a new, suspense-filled Apollo 11 documentary from filmmaker Kevin Stirling, starring legendary NASA Flight Controllers Gene Kranz, and Glynn Lunney, along with Guidance Officer (GUIDO) Steve Bales and Apollo Simulation Supervisor (SIMSUP) Dick Koos, has been selected for screenings in Denver's Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum, as part of its week-long *Apollo*Palooza celebration of Apollo 11's 50th anniversary.

"We are thrilled to have you and your award-winning documentary, "GO FOR LANDING" during our *Apollo*Palooza celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11," said Ben Theune, Director of Marketing, Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum.

The award-winning film reveals the decisive role of NASA's pre-mission simulations and takes viewers inside Mission Control to relive the fear-filled, frantic final minutes of Apollo 11's lunar descent on July 20, 1969.

Audiences will hear from the key individuals sitting at consoles in NASA's Houston-based Mission Control who successfully guided Apollo 11 to its ultimate safe lunar landing, even as numerous computer alarms were sounding, fuel was running perilously low and the mission was in real danger, and nearly aborted.

The film screenings will be held on Wed July 17th, Thur July 18th and Friday, July 19th in the Wings Over The Rockies' Harrison Ford Theater from 10:30 am to 11:30 am each day. The audience screenings will also include a Q&A with filmmaker Kevin Stirling following the presentation.

"GO FOR LANDING" won the 2019 Platinum NASA REMI Award at the Worldfest-Houston Film Festival and was most recently nominated for Best Historical Documentary in the 2019 Georgia Documentary Film Festival. Stirling's space-related films also include the award-winning documentary, "APOLLO 8: A CHRISTMAS MOON."

Stirling is also involved with numerous other Film/TV projects in production including "SKYLINES" a new TV Pilot about architecture that won the 2019 Silver REMI Award at the Worldfest-Houston Film Festival.

"SKYLINES" is an episodic television series that examines modern and historical architecture up close and behind-the-scenes. Viewers will experience architecture and hear from local guest architects and architectural historians about the famous and not-so-famous buildings, structures, and designs in cities across the U.S. and around the world.

"I believe there is an audience for SKYLINES and am confident that the right TV, cable or streaming opportunity and development offer will happen."

"I view SKYLINES as a traveling architectural roadshow. Sort of a 'Rick Steves' meets 'Anthony Bourdain' meets 'Charles Kuralt's On-The-Road kind of show. It's a pilot, so it will change. And that's what fascinates me about television because SKYLINES will certainly grow, evolve and adapt as it moves from city to city and as audiences like it and begin to look for it. I have no doubt the show will evolve...that's what makes television fun," Stirling said.

Stirling, a director, producer, and editor, provides a broad range of film and television services through his production company NCI Productions and can be reached for corporate films, commercials, documentary films, and TV projects (domestic & foreign) at info@gflthemovie.com
