ABOUT THE FILM: "Gang Love" introduces stories from a former crip gang member, facing a life sentence at 17 years old, a young female former gang member, arrested for a bank robbery, and young man who grew up on San Quentin grounds incarcerated for drug trafficking. Included in film are interviews from experts, community leaders, psychologists, and youth who reside in gang-infested neighborhoods.
ABOUT FILMMAKER ADAM YBARRA: Growing up in East San Jose, California, in a single parent home, drug and gang infested neighborhood. He was the first Hispanic to serve as an NFL Team Chaplain. Ybarra also produced "Making Of A Gangsta" an Award Winning feature-length documentary that is scheduled to be released in Fall of 2019.
