Northwest Honda Dealers Donate $1,000 to Wilsonville High School

Since many districts have been forced to make deep cutbacks in both teaching positions and curriculum, this will allow schools to purchase needed supplies, equipment, and fund important programs. Everyone in the NW Honda Dealers family is committed to supporting local schools, families, and to building bridges in the local community.
Wilsonville High School is the eighth of 10 schools to be recognized for its dedication to excellence characterized by continual innovation, growth, creativity, and passion. The school's motto is "Where Passion Powers Excellence,"
Parker Johnstone, owner, and Dan Horton, general manager of Parker Johnstone's Wilsonville Honda, will be presenting the $1,000 check to Principal Dan Schumaker on Tues., May 7 at 7 p.m.
"This check will go immediately to help fund our school's robotics program," said Schumaker. "In the past 15 years, Wilsonville Robotics Team 1425-Error Code has gone to the world competition 12 times, and finished last season ranked 18th in the world." This year's theme is "Destination:
"We also chose Wilsonville High School because of the value it places on maintaining connections within the community through emphasis on community service and partnerships,"
