 Badger Sheet Metal Works earns Industrial Achievement Award

NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, presented Badger Sheet Metal Works with the Silver Award in recognition of remaining in compliance for one year. The Industrial Achievement Awards recognize compliant Significant Industrial Users (SIU) such as Badger Sheet Metal Works and its Industrial Wastewater Discharge permit. "We make every effort to be a good steward of the water resources that are so important to the quality of life in our home state of Wisconsin," said Tracy Petitjean, procurement manager and environmental compliance officer for Badger Sheet Metal Works. "This has been a team effort to find, build and implement processes and procedures to ensure we achieve 100 percent compliance." NEW Water presents its Silver Award for meeting all program requirements for the previous regulatory year. The Gold Award is presented for three consecutive years of compliance, and the Platinum Award for five consecutive years of compliance.
