Yet your environment (read: your parents) can react a little hesitantly. Unnecessary, because countless countries are very suitable for solo travelers. Below a small selection. For the record: we definitely do not say that women can travel relatively less or less far. Many destinations are fantastic for all solo travelers! Still, it doesn't hurt to be careful. Peru

A beautiful nature, a welcoming culture and a wide range of activities. It is not strange that Peru is becoming increasingly popular among backpackers. The infrastructure has improved enormously in the last few years and that leads to an increase in travelers. Australia

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a diverse island with a good road network, special highlights and plenty of hotels. Whether you want to learn how to surf, just want to spot temples or look for  wildlife ... Sri Lanka has everything. It may also have the most beautiful train route in the world . Backpackers have been traveling to this destination for a number of years. Costa Rica

A huge jungle, beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. Costa Rica is a South American destination that is gaining more and more popularity. For both men and women, this is a great destination with lots of options. The country is adventurous, diverse and an excellent destination for women traveling alone. The choice of accommodations is large and the country is easily accessible. Also nice: in general reasonable English is spoken here.

Of course, many more countries are women-friendly and suitable for a solo trip. This list is only a small selection. Yet it is important to keep a close eye on yourself.
