WILMINGTON, Del. - April 29, 2019 - PRLog -- In Game 1, Eastside got the win over CBW through forfeit.

In Game 2, Clay City gets the win 43-40 against C-City. Steve Green led Clay City with 14pts, 6rebs, 3stls, and 2assts. C-City had a hard time locating the league's 2nd best shooter on defense today. Clay City made a crucial substitution by taking Jamaal Wilkins out the game, which allowed Steve to get shots up. Andre Saunders also chipped in 12pts, 7assts, 5rebs, and a steal. C-City stayed close, making the game competitive, they just couldn't pull out the win. Leaf led C-City with 12pts and a steal.

In Game 3, Chester came back in the 2nd half after trailing by 5 points at half-time (with only 4 players for the first 11mins). It seemed as if Noble Nine could possibly squeeze out a win against Chester, while they only had 4 players on the floor. The ball was moving fluently on offense for them and they looked comfortable, despite not having 2nd Team All-City Classic 302 PG, Blake Saunders, who was still on Easter vacation. Ant was hitting mid-range shots through the first half. He led Noble Nine with 10pts and 4rbs. As soon as 2 additional team members arrived, wherein they were able to have 5 on the floor, it was a wrap for Noble Nine. Chester eventually pulled away effortlessly. Daryl Sanders, who was just 3pts shy of being the 1st player in the league to reach 100pts for the season, led Chester with 12pts, 7rebs, 2Stls, and a block. Harp Harper, who never seemed worried about only having 4 players on the court, chipped in 11pts and 4assts. Bruce Caple added 12rebs with his 7pts. With this victory it looks like Chester is now the best team in the league.

In Game 4, Laced the OG won 53-50 against Free Agents. We all knew wen Meer Marley entered the building with uniform in hand, that Laced the OG would win the game. And that is exactly what happened today, even though Marley didn't need to show out the way he usually does. Laced The OG came out this week with more urgency, winning 53-50. Blacktop snapped for his unit dishing out 19pts, 8rebs, 3assts and a steal, winning the battle between Timon Cartwright and himself.  Danny had 13pts and Maurice Furrowh Sr. had a solid game with 10pts and 4assts. As for Free Agents, they had to play the game without their ace PG Lenell Laws due to him still being on Easter vacation. Shawn Pep G Green led the way with 13pts, 3rebs, 2Stls and 2assts. Jermaine Daniels chipped in 7pts, 8rebs and 5assts. Mar also had 13pts in his debut with The Free Agents. Now would be a good time for Free Agents to reach out to team player B Fauce, as we get closer to the playoffs. They could use his grit and defense on both ends of the court.

In Game 5 upset, Down goes DSW! The unbeatable Diamond State Warriors lost to Philly on the buzzer beater with 0.9 secs left. A beautiful play was run by Philly to "Player of the Game", James Pope, who was open for an uncontested layup. He had 19pts and 5rebs, ending DSWs winning streak and all the chit chatter. RBCBL/Philly was considered the underdog coming into today's contest. It started off rough for them in the opening mins with DSW grabbing an 8pt lead. Ak kept attacking the basket through the 1st half for DSW, and Tail kept drilling turn around jumpers. It didn't bother Philly one bit, and their defense and rebounding kept the game close as DSW took a 33-28 lead at the half. 2nd half is where Philly turned it up, playing solid defense and scoring on every turnover. Philly is known in the 302 Classic for their suffocating press, but they didn't even use it to get ahead. The numbers aren't flashy but Chuck Holt had a solid game with 7pts, 6assts, and 3 stls. He was a pest for DSW, and they didn't have an answer for him. Jimmie Greeno was solid on both ends, also coming up with a game changing And 1 at a time they needed it. Skinny Kyle also went on a 6pt run on his own in the 2nd half, with a big time steal. At the end of the day, it was just too much of James Pope's strength and poise for Philly. Philly appears to be done losing as the next two games look like blowouts for them.

Definitely some surprises and upsets in Week 5.
