ENCINITAS, Calif. & SAN DIEGO - April 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Today, a press conference was held by the City of San Diego and Cigna Behavioral Healthcare announcing a one-of-a-kind coalition of trauma treatment resources specifically for first responders and law enforcement officials. Among the four facilities involved is True North Recovery Services in Encinitas, California.

Kansas Cafferty, the founder of True North Recovery Services, had this to say about this partnership:

First responders often show up for others on the worst day of their lives. They do this every single day and for some, they need the community as much as the community needs them. Currently, there are staggering statistics being released showing that suicides among first responders exceed the loss of life occurring in this high-stress, life-threatening line of work. This is unacceptable, and the team at True North is committed to being a big part of curbing this trend.

True North Recovery Services is excited to be a part of this coalition, and is proud to continue providing the kind of support that saves our public servants' lives, and in turn, the lives of those they protect.
