BrahmaND Tour is announcing the commencement of bookings for their tour of the Hornbill festival in Nagaland. BrahmaND Tour is providing details for the tour and a description of the festival itself
MANALI, India - April 23, 2019 - PRLog -- BrahmaND Tour is announcing that bookings are open for their yearly guided tours of the Hornbill festival in Nagaland. The festival of festivals is making its 19th appearance in 2019 near the Naga city of Kohima. The festival is a celebration of the traditional cultural values of the tribes of Nagaland and is a confluence of cultural art, performance, cuisine and people. It is a mainstay in the north east and is the primary location for this BrahmaND Tour. The tour will also be visiting various destinations across the seven sisters, with key tourist attractions such as Kaziranga, Khonoma, Jakhama, Smit, Guwahati, Shillong and Dimapur. The tour will set off and conclude at the national capital of New Delhi. All in all, the trip is a 12 day adventure through the eastern states of India, focusing on the beauty and cultural significance of the Hornbill festival.

The central idea around this tour is to allow the world to appreciate the astounding beauty of a land that is often overlooked and to understand and embrace its culture through the many art forms of the region and its quite unique cuisine presented by its indomitable people. The festival has been a part of Naga culture since the turn of the millennium. It is an attempt by the government of Nagaland to preserve the rich tribal culture of the state by creating a confluence of the same in one location for the world to see.

Alongside the Hornbill festival, travellers on this tour will also get to witness the glory and the majesty of the one horned Indian Rhinoceros in its natural habitat at the Kaziranga National Park. Excessive hunting for its beautiful horns has left these beautiful beasts in a vulnerable state and as such, protections have been put in place to preserve the species with the Kaziranga National Park being home to the majority of the remaining one horned Rhinoceros's in the world. Out of an estimated 2500 individuals, about 1800 of them reside in this National Park and are protected from the ever looming threat of poachers by state authorities.

The whole tour is a prime opportunity for the photographer within all of us, rife with incredible photo opportunities strewn across the land. The coming together of culture and nature on this incredible journey is something to be remembered and hopefully to be appreciated and cherished for a lifetime.
