Week 5 Predictions: All-City Classic 302 Legends

As the All-City Classic 302 Legends league begins the second half of the regular season, some teams are finally finding flow. This is not the time for any team to become complacent as there are sure to be upsets on the horizon. Week 5 will definitely have some shocks, no doubt.

Game 1 of Week 5 Predictions:  CBW vs Eastside

This will be the first time we have two games of the week! Eastside hosts CBW and this is definitely 1 of them. CBW should win by 25pts but Eastside won't let that happen. Eastside has a lot of fight in them, and too much pride to get done that badly. They just always find a way to break down at the end of games. Both teams are familiar with each other and it's gonna be a good one. It'll go down to the wire but CBW will pull away by 7pts in the end. Cooley will be player of the game with about 20pts, 8rebs, 4assts and 1blk.

Game 2 of Week 5 Predictions: Clay City vs C-City

Clay City should win this game 75-40 before the refs call the game early. C-City has an issue with giving up. Last game they completely gave up on each other as a team because of an insane deficit. This week gets no better for them. Clay City's Lonnie Ward will be responsible for keeping C-City's leading scorer Robert Quattlebaum in check, and will be focused defensively, holding him to only 7pts. Other players will need to step up for C-City. However, not one soul has stepped up yet, this season. Clay City will look to get back to their winning ways, feeling blessed and confident to see C-City as their opponent this week. New York will be player of the game with 18pts.

Game 3 of Week 5 Predictions: Chester vs Noble Nine

Chester will win this game by 12-16pts easily. Blake and Chad seem to be the only players that wanna score in double figures for Noble Nine lately. That's not enough to beat Chester. Daryl Sanders can't be guarded as it is and Noble Nine certainly doesn't have the personnel to do so. Look for a big game from Sanders. Bruce Caple will have his usual double double and Shy will be a beast on the boards. Taking all this into account, Kwana Chase will have a long day, this Sunday. Corbin will be player of the game with 16pts, 11rebs, 3stls and 3assts.

Game 4 of Week 5 Predictions: Free Agents vs Laced The OG

Laced The OG hasn't won a game in forever. Their last win came when Meer Marley was in uniform. If he doesn't show up this Sunday, then just mark a L down for them. Laced The OG has been shooting a lot of outside shots and not knocking them down. What they're doing on the court is simply not working. They need to figure it out or other teams won't take them seriously. They will need to hit outside shots because the paint will be occupied with shot blockers Abdur Scott and Tom. Not to mention the city's all-time leading rebounder, Jermaine Daniels, who will be there to collect all boards. Shawn Pep G Green looks like he's back in rare form so he will be hard to stop. Timon Cartwright will have a tough matchup against Blacktop, but should be able to squeeze in about 11pts. Pep will be player of the game with 22pts, with at least five 3s.

Game 5 of Week 5 Predictions: RBCBL/Philly vs DSW

Game of the week.... just when we thought RBCBL/Philly was gonna get back in tune and go on a winning streak, they get cursed with being scheduled to play the best team in the league. Philly had a sigh of relief last week, playing the worst team in the league, and they won big. But now that changes. A lot of teams don't want smoke with DSW as it is, and Philly teams have been losing in DE all last weekend. Friday, both Philly teams lost at the Center, disappointing fans in the crowd. It gets no better when you face the champs this weekend. Philly will not be able to match DSW man to man, so expect them to play zone. Foul trouble will hurt Philly, in the long run. This is a game where AK shows why he's one of the best players in the league. AK is your player of the game with 25pts, 13rebs, 6assts, 2blks and 2stls. Rumor has it that RBCBL/Philly should win by 10pts, so that's what the crowd expects to see. Just give DSW the nod with a 75-57 victory.
