-- . It's hard to build a factual point from the Holy Scriptures/God's Word (The Holy Bible), without veering into multiple directions. Paul said to Timothy, in 2 Timothy 4:5: "But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.". Some people for ulterior motives ("going beyond what is openly said or shown and especially what is proper" - Merriam -Webster) will disagree with pretty much everything Biblically spoken by others. The fact is however, you sometimes have to build the foundation of a teaching, with many points from several area-passages of the Holy Bible. Paul also said to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15: "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
You could say this teaching is basically about how Christians are in such disarray with what seems to be a pleasure in calling everyone beyond their circle of church family, "heretics" or that they're "in heresy" on practically every doctrine or point in scripture because Only THEY can be right! This is actually the basis on which cults are formed. Examples: "I'm a Young Earth Creationist"
and you're an "Old Earth Creationist"
and so we will be accepted into Heaven and your group will not be. Or, you don't honor the Sabbath - in fact our lives practically revolve around that day (even with Jesus stating: "The Sabbath was made for man and not man fot the Sabbath." - Mark 2:27), so you're going to Hell and we're not. I'm pretty straightforward in this message but admonishment is not the same as literally trying to injure your fellow Christian but rather to teach, using some rough love; and yes, with possibly some righteous indignation mixed in. When God helps you to council another in an area like this, he says:"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." - Galatians 6:1.
