Chevelle Enthusiast From Kansas Wins The Chevelle Dream Giveaway!

GRAVETTE, Ark. - April 18, 2019 - PRLog -- The 2018 Chevelle Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored
by New Beginning Children's Homes, ended on February 26, 2019. Bill Cornell, age 64, from Kansas, is the grand-prize winner.

The grand-prize package was a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 —plus $10,000 towards the prize taxes! Mr. Cornell entered the Chevelle Dream Giveaway back in August of 2018 by making a donation to help several great charities. Making that donation proved to be one of the best decisions he has ever made. "This is one of those things that just doesn't happen all the time," he said. "I feel very blessed but I'm also very excited because my donation went to help some great charities. I try to give back whenever I can."

On Wednesday, March 20, 2019, he received the news via telephone that he had won the Chevelle Dream Giveaway. "When you get that winning phone call you can't really express how you feel. It's unbelievable to win something like this," he said. "I only have one knee and it was shaking. When I was growing up, I always wanted one of these."

Mr. Cornell is a prosthetist and owns his own business in Kansas. He has always had a love for the Chevelle and owned three of them back in the day. Mr. Cornell can now add a fourth to the list of Chevelles he has owned.

The Chevelle Dream Giveaway award ceremony was held on April 5th, 2019, in Clearwater, Florida, inside the Dream Giveaway Garage. The award ceremony is available for viewing on Facebook and YouTube.

New Beginning Children's Homes (NBCH) is a 501(c) 3 provider of family-style long-term residential care with a mission to provide foster children a safe and faith-centered family atmosphere where they can heal, grow, and be loved while working through difficult life issues. In addition to the funding they received, NBCH provided grants to several worthwhile charities, including Honor Flight of West Central Florida, National Guard Educational Foundation, Bright Pink, Smile Network International, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries.
