In.Corp Global has emerged as the winner in the large SME category of the inaugural SME Digital awards jointly organised by the United Overseas Bank (UOB) and NTUC U SME.
By: In.Corp Global Pte Ltd
Jointly launched by NTUC U SME and United Overseas Bank (UOB) in October 2018, the SME Digital Leap Awards is said to be Singapore's first dedicated digital innovation award for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their employees. The award aims to recognise those SMEs that have made outstanding progress in their efforts to transform their business through digital capabilities and assesses the companies in three areas, namely digital enablement, employee development and leadership direction.
In.Corp is a corporate service provider, providing a range of services from business registration, post-incorporation business management services, accounting and bookkeeping, taxation and compliance services to local, regional and multi-national companies across diverse sectors. The company has always been committed to assimilating automation and technology in its business process to enhance productivity and standardisation. However, as the customer base grew and expanded across newer markets, standard off-the-shelf solutions seemed incompetent to meet its requirements.
Recognising the need for a customised solution that would enhance service efficiency as well as service capacity, and more importantly optimise and improve the productivity of the human resources, In.Corp invested in a proprietary technology platform. Ever since its launch, the platform has improved operations efficiency by leveraging business analytics, artificial intelligence and automation of service processes that do not require a human interface. In.Corp also unveiled an easy to navigate and comprehensive website that has an open resources section providing clear, updated and detailed information regarding incorporation, management and compliance of business entities. This has been immensely helpful in generating leads that are converted to sales and thus has contributed to business growth besides entrenching the company's brand image in the market.
The platform is guided by the innovative automated business logic sense powered by AI, and it efficiently automates the elements of the service process that do not require a human interface. Hence, while service quality and delivery are standardised and consistent, customers' experience and perception of service remain personalised.
Commenting on the company's digitalisation efforts, Atin Bhutani, the CEO of In.Corp says, "Operating across diverse markets under challenging human resource constraints required us to tap into technology. This timely and bold investment in digitalisation has won us several advantages. It has not just improved our process efficiency and standardised quality but has also contributed to the profitability of our business by improving the productivity of our resources. Most importantly, the reduced workload and easy processes have improved the morale of our staff who are now more engaged and conducive to the digitalisation efforts of the management. We have won their trust and support, and we are confident that our continued efforts in this direction will be well-appreciated and well-received by them. As staff support in very critical in digital transformation efforts and we managed to secure their buy-in by constantly engaging them through a shared vision, open interaction, comprehensive training and by having change management team to manage the transformation smoothly."
Welcoming the inaugural award, Satish Bakdha, the CDO at In.Corp said, "In.Corp is deeply thankful and privileged to receive this award from the distinguished panel of judges and the organisers. This is a prestigious endorsement for our digital transformation efforts. As a company committed to the mission of making doing business easy, we will continue to push for greater growth through digitalisation."
