New Dog Training Facility Opening on the Northmost Oregon Coast

The only canine group teaching center committed to positive reinforcement in the Astoria-Warrenton area is welcoming new students now.

WARRENTON, Ore. - April 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Residents of the Columbia-Pacific Region have a new option for training their dogs. Mod.Dogs Canine Enrichment Center is now open in Warrenton, offering group classes, private training, and specialty workshops, all focused on improving the human-animal bond.

Owned by professional dog trainer Elise Patrick, Mod.Dog Canine Enrichment Center specializes in the family dog. Its focus is on young puppy socialization and training, adult dog manners, and common behavior issues. The Mod.Dogs mission is to help owners develop a cooperative relationship with their dog through the use of innovative, reward-based techniques, focusing on real-life situations, setting owners and dogs up for a lifetime of success.

The Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce will hold a Ribbon Cutting at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 to officially welcome Mod.Dogs Canine Enrichment Center as a Chamber Member.  The event will be immediately followed by an Open House to meet the trainer, tour the facility and learn about programs and services.  The public is invited to attend.

Elise Patrick is a graduate of the Peaceable Paws Level 1 Intern Academy, studying under renowned positive dog trainer and author, Pat Miller. Elise is also a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild and is pursuing professional certification through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Elise has attended several conferences and seminars focused on animal behavior and training and is committed to continued education. Elise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Baker University and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Kansas.
