Rekindling the Magic of Snooker

BIRMINGHAM, U.K. - April 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Jimmy Mole is working hard to create 50 miniature sculptures of snooker stars past and present in a bid to celebrate the magic of snooker and remind people why it has been so adored and talked about.

Called "The Crucible Collection", Jimmy is using his vast experience as a 3D Designer to bring the forgotten magic of snooker back into the limelight.

"I feel so passionate about making this project work," Jimmy explains. "I love the idea of creating these characters so people can collect them, celebrate them, paint them and keep them forever. Snooker is often overlooked by the news and sports channels today and I think it would be good to get it back on the map and pay homage to the skill it takes to play the game."

Jimmy has already created three of the characters, and he's now launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding to finish his incredible collection. It will feature the likes of Alex Higgins holding his baby girl and the Trophy, Steve Davis winning his 6th World Title, Ronnie O' Sullivan's triumph in 2013 after taking a year out and, more recently, Mark Williams producing some amazing snooker to lift the title in 2018 at 43 years old.

Jimmy can't make his dream a reality without support and he is asking people to make pledges to back his Kickstarter campaign. There are rewards on offer to anyone who pledges. "This project is my life, literally," Jimmy says. "I've been studying for many years and working hard in computers and this is what I want more than anything. I'd love to create these figures to celebrate the great sport of snooker. My focus is now truly on this Kickstarter project and creating these rewards for my backers."
