Bestselling Author Publishes Two Books for the Camino de Santiago

SAN DIEGO - April 14, 2019 - PRLog -- The Pilgrim office in Santiago, Spain reports that more than 300,000 people walked or biked the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage routes last year. That number is set to double in 2021, the next Holy Year.

As interest in pilgrimage grows around the world, so does the need for resources to assist pilgrims both during and after the journey. Most guidebooks focus on logistics such as when to go, which route to take, and what to pack.

Kiser takes a new approach in her highly anticipated books, Your Inner Camino and After the Camino (February 26, 2019 release date, published by Camino Chronicles Press). In the first book, Your Inner Camino, she offers a roadmap for the personal inner journey. In the second book, After the Camino, she reveals exactly how to bring the camino experience into daily life at home.

Here's what readers will discover in each book:

Your Inner Camino: Your Pocket Guide to Inspiration and Transformation Along the Camino de Santiago
· How to let go of the thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that limit growth and happiness
· Techniques to identify what is really important
· A roadmap for turning a long-distance walk into an inner transformation

After the Camino: Your Pocket Guide to Integrating the Camino de Santiago into Your Daily Life
· 3 immediate action steps for a smooth transition back home
· Strategies to simplify life and add more meaning to each day
· 10 practices to integrate the pilgrim way into everyday life

Unlike traditional camino guides, Kiser does not offer advice on equipment, logistics, or lodging. Instead, she addresses the deeper issues that compel people from all walks of life to the Camino de Santiago.

What others are saying about Your Inner Camino and After the Camino:

"My advice to aspiring pilgrims: 1) break in your shoes ahead of time, 2) carry as little as possible, and 3) bring this little book! Your Inner Camino is a magnificent guide for walking the camino and creating a truly memorable experience."  – Javier Maderuelo, owner of Hostal Camynos, Ambasmestas, Spain

"It's true that the Camino really starts when you're back home. After the Camino was a life saver for me." – Kathy Stearns, pilgrim on the Camino Portugués

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Karin Kiser is the founder of Radical SimplicityTM and the author of the international bestseller Lighten Your Load. She has been on and off the Camino de Santiago since 2011 – as a pilgrim, as a hostel hospitalera, and as a volunteer trash collector along the route.
