Altavoz hires VP of International Business Affairs to expand distribution services

PALISADES, D.C. - April 10, 2019 - PRLog -- Adam Herko joins the Altavoz executive team to lead its import/export operations as vice president of international business affairs. Herko will leverage decades of experience in the music industry and international affairs to build up a global catalog, as well as have a hand in overall business development.

"Adam's expertise will allow Altavoz to expand our distribution services to global clients and opens the U.S. market for overseas artists. His contact base and operational know-how is already doing great things for the company and we couldn't be more excited to bring Adam onto the team in time for the annual entertainment biz conference," said Altavoz CEO Nelson R. Jacobsen.

Altavoz will immediately begin importing international catalogs, starting in Europe and expanding worldwide. The company will add this extensive entertainment data to the Entertainment Public Blockchain "EPB", which Altavoz is building out via HyperledgerSawtooth, a blockchain framework hosted by The Linux Foundation that serves as a modular platform for building, deploying, and running distributed ledgers providing a digital record (such as asset ownership) This framework will be the platform for the Altavoz EPB's ability to track orders, inventory, and payouts for mechanical and publishing copyrights.

Adam has been the link for international music and U.S. distribution since 1990, beginning at New York-based Musicrama as a music buyer. From there, Adam started at MSI Music which was carrying titles not found in the U.S.-based catalogs and he helped MSI secure exclusive international distribution deals. Adam joined Alliance Entertainment where he stayed for half a dozen years building out their import catalog services and key relationships overseas. Adam was one of the founders of All Media Supply, and was responsible for establishing its first warehouse, catalog and ordering systems as well as serving as liaison between copyright authorities in order to comply with applicable laws. Adam is classically trained musician starting on a piano at the age of seven.
