It is entitled "Our Minds On Menopause," and will focus on what happens to women's minds before and during menopause. It takes place on April 14, from 4-6 pm at 2222 Pico Blvd., in Santa Monica. Pardes designs each Pause Pod Blast episode to inspire women, ignite their curiosity, empower them with information, and welcome them into an inclusive space for discussion. The series was launched in 2019, and the first two pod blasts were released last month. Episode One features an OBGYN, and Episode Two features a cardiologist. Listen to each one now. The "Our Minds On Menopause," pod blast will post after the April 14, recording. The pod blast will feature an in-depth interview with Dr. Caron Post, a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in Los Angeles with over 25 years of clinical experience. This will be followed by a lively Q & A session with the audience.
Common symptoms ranging from depression, anxiety, brain fog, and many others can often be related to fluctuating and decreasing levels of estrogen and other hormones. "There are many lenses to view the emotional and psychological changes that women undergo throughout this phase of life," said Dr. Post.
