In his Four Seasons, legendary composer Antonio Vivaldi portrays a year filled with hope, flowering growth, blossoming abundance, and the quiet gathering of energy for tomorrow. Blending the fire and passion of tango with extensive, Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires are not specifically pictorial, as are Vivaldi's well-known movements, but are instead evocations of the changing seasons in Piazzolla's native Argentina.
Performances will be Saturday, April 27th at 7:00 pm at The Jay & Linda Grunin Center for the Arts, 1 College Drive, Toms River, and Sunday, April 28th at 4:00 pm at The Spring Lake Community House at 300 Madison Avenue, Spring Lake. Tickets for the Toms River performance are available at http://www.gardenstatephilharmonic.org/
