FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - April 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Miami Dolphins Kicker Jason Sanders volunteered his Sunday helping coach and mentor 22 middle school and high school kickers at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Florida.

The 2nd year Dolphin also showed off his leg to the student-athletes even kicking a 70 yard field goal.

The Miami Dolphins drafted Jason Sanders in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He had an outstanding rookie season setting several club records hitting multiple 50 plus yard field goals and even kicking a game-winning field goal.

There have only been a few documented 70 yard field goal attempts across the internet and in the modern NFL even with kickers having huge legs, very rarely will an NFL team attempt a kick over 55 yards mostly due to the potential for very poor field position should the attempt fail.

The current NFL record for longest field goal is 64 yards and for many years it was 63 yard which was originally set by Tom Dempsey and then tied multiple times. The current record of 64 yards was kicked by Matt Prater while on the Denver Broncos.
