CFTE & Ngee Ann Polytechnic's collaboration named as finalist for LendIt FinTech Industry Awards

CANARY WHARF, U.K. - April 8, 2019 - PRLog -- The Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) announced the nomination of AI in Finance and the collaboration between CFTE and Ngee Ann Polytechnic for the Most Successful Cross-Border Partnership at the 2019 LendIt Fintech Industry Awards.

The third annual LendIt Fintech Industry Awards celebrates fintech markets, emerging innovators and top industry talent. The prestigious ceremony will bring together over 500 fintech thought leaders, entrepreneurs and influencers to honour outstanding achievements in financial services innovation. With finalists evaluated by more than 30 respected fintech industry experts including CEOs, investors and media, the winners will be announced during the LendIt Fintech Industry Awards Show and Dinner on April 9 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco.

The two other collaborations nominated for "Most Successful Cross Border Partnerships" are Kabbage / Alibaba and Kasisto / Standard Chartered Bank.

Both institutions are nominated for their equal efforts in organising the inaugural 2018 AI in Finance Awards, leading on from the successful 'AI in Finance' course, as well as the consequent Winners' Roadshow. The AI in Finance Awards honoured ingenuity in the CFTE community, helping learners apply expertise from the online course into developing real-world business ideas promoting AI in Finance.

The AI in Finance online course was jointly developed by CFTE and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and has become a reference course for professionals around the world to understand the impact and use cases of Artificial Intelligence in Finance.

Meanwhile, the 3 winners of the AI awards were rewarded with real-world experience of leading Fintech hubs in London and Singapore, delivering on the promise to make candidates' AI ideas a reality.
