Wound Therapy and Scar Care is now available online

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - April 5, 2019 - PRLog -- Dr. Edward Domanskis has introduced ScaRx®Tape which is effective in helping reduce unsightly scars after injuries and surgeries. Continuous application for several months after injury or surgery is recommended for optimum results. ScaRx® tape also is hypoallergenic and does provide some sun protection. It is water resistant but should be changed after several days. Two different rolls are included in each order, one with less adhesion than the other and different color tone-lighter and darker to match the patients' complexion.

Dr. Domanskis cautions that if redness does occur, then it should be discontinued and the other role applied. Also, this wound therapy must be started as soon as possible after injury and/or surgery and be continuous for it to be most effective.

Not matter what wound care and scar therapy is used, some patients, like those that form keloids or scars that overgrow, will not respond. Other modalities can then be tried, which to date, still are not totally effective.
