Week 3 Forecast for All-City Classic 302 Legends League
Team Leaders are emerging from the pack as All-City Classic 302 Legends Basketball League heads into Week 3.
Anticipation grips the players and spectators of All-City Classic Legends League as Week 3 is sure to further establish team rankings and the teams to beat. Diamond State Warriors and Chester are currently leading the pack, closely followed by RBCBL Philly, who lost in a close one to Chester last week. Week 3 is extremely important for the Leaders to consolidate their positions, and for those struggling to get a Win on the Boards.
Game 1 of Week 3 Predictions:
Expect this game to be intense. Both teams are 0-2, searching for their 1st win of the season. Nothing would feel better than getting into the win column. Plus, this might be the only win for either team the entire season. It's hard to believe either team will get another win for the rest of the season. Both teams might as well go all out and try their best to get a win this Sunday. Nobody wants to get up early on a Sunday morning to play at 8:30am, just to lose. C-City hasn't cleared 30pts in a game this season, however this Sunday they finally will. The matchup between Bilal Ahmad and B Fauc should be interesting, but the scoring from sharp shooters Shawn Pep G Green, Steve Green, and Timon Cartwright should get Free Agents over the hump. Expect Tom from Free Agents to be Player of the Game with a 15pt, 10reb performance. Free Agents take this win 47-31.
Game 2 of Week 3 Predictions:
DSW will win by 25pts. And that's that. However, the incentive for Eastside is if they win, they won't have to pay ref fees for the rest of the season. That will be covered. Eastside usually plays DSW hard up until the final 6 or 7 mins, but for some reason, they fold every time in the 2nd half and DSW runs away with the game.
Game 3 of Week 3 Predictions:
This will be a good game. Talent on both teams, but the edge will go to Clay City by 5pts. Andre Saunders will be Player of the Game, and really, nobody on Laced The OG can stop him anyway. If there is someone who can stop him,let us know now or forever hold your peace. I like Dre for 25pts & 7rebs, and that will be 7 easy. Plus Marky D won't be losing too many games on his home court. Laced The OG will just have to take This L and use it as motivation for the following week. Blacktop, 1 of the captains for Laced The OG, will lead them in scoring but it will not be enough for a win. He has a bad record against Dre. Clay City with the 65-60 victory over Eric Cotton and them.
Game 4 of Week 3 Predictions:
GAME OF THE WEEK... This will be Chesters 2nd straight week playing Game of the Week. They didn't disappoint spectators last week with an impressive victory over RBCBL Philly in the last minute of the game. Game of the Week matters to Chester, as they know it means they have a tough game ahead of them .... and they usually win. This game will be a good one and it will come down to a victory in OT, by just a few points. The winner of this game will be the team that doesn't worry about the refs so much. There will be some missed calls which will frustrate certain players and could affect the way their team plays down the line. The team who remains calm and just plays ball will come out on top. There will be mismatches on the floor on both sides at different times of the game. The team who uses those opportunities most successfully will win the game. A big key to this game is depth. Players will be tired. Nobody is winning with just 2 players off the bench. Chester is guard heavy, guards with different styles to their game, which makes them so good. Daryl Saunders has another 30pt game in him if he will be present. Harp Harper (high IQ) vs Earl Miller (high IQ)... both important to their squads. Who gets tired first? We'll see. There should be no reason why Bruce doesn't get a monster double double, and he will be a problem in the paint. CBWs full roster hasn't been seen yet, so this prediction is based on past observation of the players. This is a show and prove league, so CBW will have to do just that. CBW wil fall to Chester 73-69.
Game 5 of Week 3 Predictions:
RBCBL Philly coming off a tough loss, Noble Nine coming off a food win, this is hard to determine. Philly's guards need to carry their team to victory Sunday. Noble Nine will probably play a lot of zone. Not sure if they like to get out and run a lot but they should take it into consideration. Forget walking the ball up the floor. Rebound, get out, and run. Noble Nine needs a big game from Kwana Chase and Chad Johnson. Gotta be the beasts down low that they're supposed to be. If Philly plays man then there won't be a lot of scoring from Noble Nine's guards. The ball will be dumped down to them. This could get ugly for Noble Nine. It's seriously doubtful that RBCBL Philly will want to lose 2 games in a row, so RBCBL Philly gets the nod .... Especially if they have a chip on their shoulder.
