Jan-Carol Publishing Plans for This Year's Women in Entrepreneurship Conference

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - April 3, 2019 - PRLog -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc. is proud to be a part of the 2019 Women in Entrepreneurship Conference, "Empowering Women."

The conference, set to take place on Wednesday, April 24^th in the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, VA, will feature Beth Nielson Chapman as the keynote speaker. Chapman is a Grammy nominated singer and songwriter from Nashville, TN and has released thirteen solo albums and written seven #1 hits. Chapman is also a breast cancer survivor, environmentalist, and considers herself a creativity midwife, passionate about inspiring others to fully blossom into their creative life.

The conference will also feature breakout sessions with local, successful business women, including Jan-Carol Publishing's own Janie C. Jessee! Jessee started the region's first local women's magazine, Voice Magazine for Women, over 15 years ago. Parent company Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc. publishes the monthly magazine and currently has published 300 book titles.

Breakout sessions at the conference will include: Starting & Financing a Successful Business, Growing Your Local Creative Community, From House to Home: Creating a Home you Never Want to Leave, Overcoming Obstacles: Finding a Balance Between your Strengths and your Weaknesses, and much more!
