Small Business Course Starts April 15 in Port Charlotte
Goodwill's MicroEnterprise Institute is accepting applications for spring session

"Goodwill's MicroEnterprise Institute can help make your dreams of self-employment become more feasible and will provide the mentorship necessary to kick-start your business," said Sandra Plazas, program manager.
The MicroEnterprise Institute meets 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and Thursday evenings at Charlotte Technical College, located at 18150 Murdock Circle. Graduates complete a comprehensive training course and prepare a solid feasibility plan, working with mentors who are successful businesspeople. Subjects discussed include accounting, legal, marketing, insurance and funding.
Recent program graduate and owner of Galezano Insurance, Margaret Galewski said, "This program is an amazing opportunity for any current or future business owner. I learned so much from being a part of it, and would recommend it to anyone."
The course will conclude May 23 with a guest speaker and graduation ceremony.
