New Book Introduces STEAM to Underserved Communitiies Nationwide

SAN FRANCISCO - April 1, 2019 - PRLog -- Let's STEAM Ahead is Andre' Lewis' newest children's book introducing engaging and important careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Let's STEAM Ahead was written to inspire and encourage kids in underserved communities to pursue careers in STEAM.

Industry is changing quickly and the jobs and careers our children will pursue may not exist yet. To prepare them for what the future holds, we need to teach them to problem solve and to think critically. New ideas and new opportunities require a new approach. STEAM has become the new acronym for success.

Organizations, companies, school districts, and philanthropists can make a difference by providing this book to children. Through community outreach, individuals working in STEAM fields meet with student groups for a reading, give a book to each child and share how they became successful in their STEAM careers. Through the book, children are encouraged to believe in their dreams while parents are given a pathway to success for their children to follow.

About the Author

Andre' A. Lewis is a veteran, airline pilot, speaker, inventor and author. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, with a degree in Astronautical Engineering and holds a Masters Degree in Business from Webster University. Mr. Lewis founded Literary Engineers, LLC to create customized books and resources that target a myriad of important social issues. Overcoming several major obstacles in his life, Mr. Lewis has set his goals on providing organizations and government entities with the ability to educate and connect with their local communities.
