Tees2urDoor to Introduce Direct to Garment Printing

BEAUMONT, Texas - March 29, 2019 - PRLog -- Tees2urdoor announces the addition of Direct to Garment printing to its already popular line of products and options. This addition will empower T2D to bring graphics and images to the marketplace at reasonable pricing.

You may be asking what is Direct-to-Garment or DTG Printing? Direct to garment printing is a process of printing on apparel using specialized inkjet technology. What's the difference between DTG and screen printing? Screen printing pushes the ink onto the fabric through a stencil. DTG printers hold the garment in a fixed position and use specialty inks that are applied to the apparel directly by the print head and are absorbed by the garment's fibers. Now, in non-printer terms it's as if you are printing on your inkjet printer at home with paper, but we are printing on garments. The feel of the fabric after printing with this technology is much softer than traditional screen printing and becomes softer with washing.

Other benefits of DTG technology for our customers include:

• No colouring limits: Other printing techniques have colouring limits but DTG has no coloring limits. Despite the number of tones you desire on one job, you can produce all the colors with ease.
• Create one-of-a-kind t-shirts: it is an awesome option for one–off T-shirt printing.
• Allows intricate designs: DTG has the ability to create intricate details thus producing high quality T-shirts. Besides being a high quality machine, it is faster.
• Inks: Largely, this machine uses water-related ink that was initially very expensive though the cost has been lowered considerably of late.

Why add this to our line when we have to print one shirt at a time as opposed to being able to screen print at a much faster rate? We recognized two things: one, many of our customers want to customize smaller quantities of design ideas they have, and this technology makes it very affordable to do so; and two, this allows us to print an unlimited palette of colors at no extra expense to our valued customers.
