LOS ANGELES - March 28, 2019 - PRLog -- Chicago I'm Home Comedian, actor and internet sensation, Barry Brewer,  is set to play a recurring role as "Eric Rowland" on BET's new upcoming drama series titled: Games People Play.

Executive produced by Tracey Edmonds, of Edmonds Entertainment, along with Emmy Award nominee, Vanessa Middleton; author, Angela Burt-Murray and Kim Newton; Games People Play is a creative spin on the popular book Games Divas Play, where fame, money and fortune is the ultimate sport that this sexy cast is playing to win.

Games People Play is centered around the professional sports world in the star-studded land of LA. This show will focus on the lives of three different women including a desperate housewife: Vanessa King (played by Lauren London), a scandalous groupie: Laila James (played by Parker McKenna Posey), and an ambitious reporter: Nia Bullock (played by Karen Obilom). And with the crazy lives of these lovely women, of course, comes the drama of their crazier spouses. One of which includes Eric Rowland, Nia's boyfriend, who is played by none other than comedic sensation, Barry Brewer.

Eric Rowland is not only just Nia's live-in boyfriend, but he is also an IT nerd who is deeply in love with Nia and worships the ground she walks on. When Nia gets presented with a new job opportunity in LA, Eric encourages her to accept the opportunity, promising to join her in a couple of months. But in just the short time of her moving out there, their relationship goes through the real test.

"I am so excited and blessed to be playing in my first-ever role on a huge network," says Barry Brewer, comedian and actor. I would like to personally thank Tracey Edmonds for providing me with a platform to showcase my acting talents and to be able to work alongside a great cast. I can't wait for everyone to see this drama-filled TV series because it's a good one!"

Barry Brewer has been featured on Season 3 of Gabriel Iglesias Stand-Up Revolution, Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks, All Def Comedy,  BET's Comic View, Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes, Kevin Hart's Guide to Black History and has released his newest stand-up comedy film titled: Chicago I'm Home, where he is in efforts to raise $1Million for Chicago Public and Charter Schools.

Games People Play is scheduled to be released in late April 2019. To learn more about Barry Brewer and Games People Play, visit www.barrybrewercomedy.com
