A mother loves people in total obedience to God, as we are encouraged to love one another from a pure heart. A mother's love is so unique and selfless bringing with it a genuine restoration to those that are embraced. A mother who respects godly values is a woman of substance and her integrity will be sure because her actions are a true representation of her words.

"It is clear that God created women with such giftings that we need the strength and direction from God in our daily journeys. As mothers, we need to pay particular attention to love: to dwell in love, to move in love. God's love is the foundation on which every mother's love was designed to be built. God has shown us the essence of His love by an act of self-sacrifice - sending His one and only son to the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. This sacrificial act of love through the cross demonstrates that God totally accepts us, because He was willing to enable us to be forgiven for everything we have ever done. God not only accepts and embraces us as we are, He also equips us by giving us the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us; enabling us to love just as He loves. This love is unpacked in more detail in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: 'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails"

A mother finds herself in a position where she has the potential to love unconditionally. All of us have hurts and genuine reasons why we struggle to love at our fullest potential, yet at the same time, the Holy Spirit can empower us through our woundedness to love supernaturally. When we embrace the unceasing delight and love of the Father for ourselves, we look less to those around us to fulfil our needs and are able to love a lot more freely. God does not expect perfection, but he rewards our sincere efforts to love."
