Daughter of WWII survivors tells family story of triumph over tragedy at Regal Palms Senior Living Residence in Largo, FL
Roslyn Franken will tell the story of her book, Meant to Be, about her parents' unlikely survival, love and triumph over tragedy as Holocaust and Nagasaki atomic bomb survivors. Her multimedia presentation has been described as "emotionally charged, uplifting and presented in a manner that is both entertaining and inspiring." A feature length movie adaptation of her book, Meant to Be, is currently in development. Roslyn will be available for book signing following the presentation.
In her heartfelt and engaging speaking style, Roslyn Franken reveals the unforgettable true story of how her parents, John and Sonja Franken, two unlikely survivors of WWII, survive unimaginable cruelty in the most extraordinary of circumstances and find everlasting love against all odds - John survived the Nagasaki atomic bomb as a Prisoner of War in Japan, while Sonja survived the concentration camps in Nazi Europe, including the horrors of Auschwitz. As a proud cancer survivor at 29, Roslyn also shares the positive life lessons she learned from her parents as the daughter of survivors that we can all learn from to better our own lives and make our world a better place.
