United Church of Christ Endowment Fund Committee Member Pete Peterson stated, "We hope to that with Acts 4 Ministry through our Church Members' additional donations of furniture, clothing and household goods, and volunteering at Acts 4 Ministry's retail shop at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury."

The non-denominational Acts 4 Ministry was chosen by the Endowment Fund Committee to support the charitable organization's continuous ambitions to meet the daily needs of families and individuals throughout the Greater Waterbury region in financial distress, or who have lost their home and possessions to fire, floor or other unexpected life circumstances.
