Pocono Witch and author, E. Massey planning first-ever Witches Festival and Ball

STROUDSBURG, PA, July 23, 2018- "Not quite," says, Witch and author, E. Massey, who has made the Stroudsburg area his new home. However, he will bring "a little of Salem to the area" with the first-ever "Pocono Witches' Festival and Ball" come Halloween and plans to open a store similar to those found in Salem, MA in the near future.

Self-proclaimed as "The Witch City", Salem, Massachusetts is home to an estimated 2,000 Witches and Pagans living in and around the city. During the month of October, it becomes the mecca for not only thousands of tourists but for Witches, Wiccans, warlocks, Druids and everything in between to celebrate Halloween or Samhain, as it is known to the magically- inclined population. "The Pocono Witch", says he usually attends one of the two major Witch gatherings in Salem, The Official Salem Witches' Halloween Ball and "The Official Witch of Salem", Laurie Cabot's Witches' Ball and is looking forward to bringing that magical atmosphere and fanfare to the Pocono Mountains.

The "Pocono Witches' Festival and Ball" will encompass various themed events throughout a weekend in October. Where the main affair will be a Witches' masquerade ball that includes a buffet dinner, DJ and a real Witches' ritual celebrating Halloween. Other events include a Séance and Paranormal Investigation, Psychic Dinner, and a "Magickal Market", with over 100 vendors selling holistic and event themed items and offer workshops by known occult and paranormal celebrities and speakers.

The "Pocono Witches' Festival and Ball" will be held October 18^th - 20^th at the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony and is expected to draw over 500 people. Practicing Witch, E. Massey is the owner of Androide Entertainment and The Hierophant, an online thrift and occult store. His presence in the community can be seen serving on the Philadelphia Pagan Pride board of directors and with Paranormal Spirit Finders as a medium/investigator. He has also published two books on the practice of Witchcraft and Magick.
