Acute Pain Therapies in Bellevue, WA
- March 21, 2019
-- The team at Acute Pain Therapies is honored to be recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to offering patients innovative, in-office protocols for managing acute and chronic pain without the use of opioid prescription drugs.
When asked about being nominated for this award, Dr. Zachary Fisk, MD, MBA, Founder Managing Director of Acute Pain Therapies replied, "We are humbled by it. When we opened the practice two years ago, it was our mission to offer the most safe, effective and scientifically proven pain solutions available. Our approach has always been to provide a means for the patient to overcome their pain that improves their quality of life and minimizes the risk of becoming addicted to pain medications. We are all keenly aware of the opioid epidemic in our country. Our goal is not only to raise awareness
about the rapid increase in the use of prescription and non-prescription opioid drugs, but to minimize, if not ameliorate the crisis by offering patients non-opioid pain management by providing in-office protocols such as temporary nerve catheters, nerve cryotherapy, ketamine infusions, ultrasound guided PRP and stem cell injections for both acute and chronic pain management.
Recently Acute Pain Therapies proudly announced their latest expansion: Providing comprehensive chronic pain management with a multi-modal approach including consultations, medication management and a wide variety of interventional pain procedures using both fluoroscopy and ultrasound techniques. Dr. Christina Julian joined Acute Pain Therapies in January 2019 where she practices Interventional Chronic Pain Management and Anesthesiology. Dr. Julian is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She earned her Medical Degree from West Virginia University, where she also completed her Residency in Anesthesiology. After completing residency, she held a faculty position in the WVU Department of Anesthesiology where she managed high acuity intra-operative patients, participated in resident education and developed her skills in regional anesthesia. Dr. Julian also completed her Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the university of Maryland.
The Eastside Business award will be presented by the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce at an awards ceremony and reception on March 28. For more information about Acute Pain Therapies visit their website at http://www.acutepaintherapies.com
