New Retirement Community Coming to Reno
Groundbreaking Ceremony for Mountain Lakes Estates Retirement Community
By: Mountain Lakes Estates Retirement Community
The ceremonial groundbreaking recognized several project partners, including Pinnacle Architects, PA, MSL Construction, LLC, Contract Interiors, Western Pacific Electric, and Alpha Omega Mechanical, as well as local dignitaries including Ann Silver, CEO of Reno / Sparks Chamber of Commerce, Bob Gastonguay, representative for Congressman Mark Amodei and Nate Helton, representative for Senator Jacky Rosen. Mission Senior Living president, Darryl Fisher, led the ceremony.
"Moving to Mountain Lakes Estates gives you the freedom and resources to live a healthy, fun and purposeful life – whatever that might mean to you," said Fisher. "Gone are the responsibilities and upkeep of home ownership. You're left with more time to do what you love, like travel, golf, attend concerts, hike in Tahoe or relax with a good book after enjoying a meal you didn't have to cook."
In addition to spacious apartment homes, the community features welcoming courtyards and winding walking paths, expansive common areas for gatherings and entertainment, a dining area where chef-prepared meals are served, a billiards room and fitness center, and outdoor gardening areas. Services and amenities help simplify and enhance daily life, and opportunities to try new hobbies or learn new skills through a variety of community partnerships are available.
Mountain Lakes Estates is expected to employ approximately 25 full- and part-time team members trained in the organization's Mission, Values and Principles.
