Michele Rothstein Owner of Balloons With A Twist tributes mother's memory

LAS VEGAS - March 20, 2019 - PRLog -- Michele Rothstein, owner of award-winning Balloons With A Twist,  is joining the fight to end cancer by committing to raise funds to be allocated to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Las Vegas, Power In Purple campaign.

Rothstein exclaims, "I am thrilled to have been nominated for the Power In Purple campaign along with a group of amazing, inspirational women. My mother passed away from Glioblastoma, brain cancer, a few years ago, and I am honored to be part of the Power In Purple campaign in her memory."

With nearly half of her goal raised, Rothstein strives to obtain donations to complete her goal by 100 percent. Many friends, colleagues and professionals have answered the call by helping Rothstein reach her personal goal.

Michele Rothstein was awarded "Best Event Planner" for 2017 and 2018 in the Las Vegas Review Journal's Best of Las Vegas program. In addition, she was honored in 2018 the "Women of Wonder" recognition by Deluxe Version Magazine for her work in the community.

In 2018, Rothstein also launched www.mastercalendarlasvegas.com and the ancillary social media channels @mastercalendarL (Twitter) @mastercalendarlv (Facebook and Instagram). Master Calendar Las Vegas lists fundraisers and social gatherings and lets organizations add their own.

Future fundraising events will be announced on Master Calendar Las Vegas online for those that would like to support Power In Purple and attend.

Rothstein is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Create a Change Now, a local non-profit fighting childhood obesity.

She supports numerous other charities like the Make A Wish Foundation, Aid For AIDS of Nevada, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude's Ranch for Children and New Vista.

The Power In Purple campaign is a group of community leaders who are committed to raising awareness and funds for this year's American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Las Vegas. Their mission is to save lives and celebrate life. The community's support of Power In Purple will help move one step closer toward achieving a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer.
