LOS ANGELES - March 19, 2019 - PRLog -- PAUSE, a local production company and creator of the live Pause Pod Blast where it explores women's health over 40, today announced it launched pausepodcast.com a unique, live pod blast series designed for women to gather together live to learn from, and to engage with, health practitioners about menopause.  The series which debuted on March 3, (listen) will host its next shows on March 24 and April at 14, 2019, from 4 pm - 6 pm in Los Angeles. Details here.

The live pod blasts enable women a rare opportunity to delve into a myriad of information specific to menopause particularly concerning the changes, their bodies are undergoing. It also serves as an important forum and welcoming space for women to inquire about the topic regardless of her range of knowledge on about menopause. Hosted by Deborah Pardes, a veteran host, and literacy advocate through arrestingknowledge.com, she has structured pausepodcast.com around the notion that few women fully understand the changes happening to their bodies during menopause.

"PAUSE is very excited to present this series because too often women simply do not know what's happening to them at during the menopause process," said Deborah Pardes, Founder of PAUSE.  "Forty million women are currently in what I like to refer to as the "invisible club," and yet only 20 percent of these women understand what's happening to their bodies."

The 'invisible club' is dubbed by Pardes to identify women who represent all races, cultures, and various stages of menopause who are often silent about the changes they're undergoing. Because the onset of menopause usually occurs at 51 years of age in a woman's life, many women at this stage live extraordinarily busy lives. Quite often they are employed, caring for aging parents, managing a home and children.  Many are overwhelmed and may not feel that there is time to give thought to a host of physical and emotional changes menopause can bring. This new series, however, provides women the necessary time and space to learn more and participate.

"We want women to think of their time spent at pausepodcast.com, as time away from what is hectic and busy in their lives to learn about herself and her health," Pardes added. "More than anything it is chance to help them find their voice where their menopausal experience is concerned."

About Pause-PAUSE is designed to explore the lifecycle of women's health-from prime-to-prime.  Its consistently frank, fun, and informative LIVE shows feature conversations with practitioners and the public, along with performances that feature art inspired by this fertile topic.
