March 19, 2019 - PRLog -- Let's say you've already bought a plane ticket and booked a room in one of Bohol luxury resorts. Surely, you can't wait to finally fly in and spend your great holiday in the place. But before you do that, you should know a few important facts and tips, which will let you enjoy your trip in the famous island province of Bohol.

We prepared this list of unique activities for your reference:

1. Oyster Farm Tour
A trip to Cambuhat Oyster Farm in the town of Buenavista takes 30 to 40 minutes. A regular boat can accommodate 2 passengers with a paddler/tour guide. Apart from the tour that showcases Bohol's oyster culture, you'll also get a chance to learn about native loom weaving and broom making.

2. Sunset Cruise
Witness the sun setting down along Panglao Bay. This glorious experience typically comes with cocktail. The sky in this part of the Philippines can go from yellow and orange to crimson or red carmine. There's a season when the sea and the sky become completely purple or pink.

3. Firefly Watching
Hop aboard a traditional badong boat on the Loay River and enjoy an enthralling encounter with numerous fireflies. Watch these magical creatures light up the night as you revel in a romantic cruise that usually comes with a delightful dinner. Be at the site at 5 pm. Sailing starts at 6 pm.

4. Dolphin and Whale Watching
Head to Pamilacan Island for an exciting experience with whales and dolphins. A touring boat can accommodate up to seven passengers. Each is furnished with comfortable seats and roof, and is equipped with life vests. Skilled spotters who are very familiar with the area will serve as your guides. The waters of Pamilacan are home to at least 11 species of dolphins and whales, including the spinner dolphins and sperm whales.

5. Heritage Tour
Visit the Clarin Ancestral House in the town of Loay and take a glimpse of the illustrious past of Bohol. This two-storey landmark is a Filipino-Spanish designed residence built during the 1840s. It features coral stone foundations, roughly hewn wooden posts, polished wooden floorboards, and wood plank walls. The upper floor of the house contains the living quarters and has large and wide windows with shutters decorated with capiz shells.

6. Mag-aso Falls Tour
Located in the town of Antequera, Mag-aso Falls is one of more than 20 waterfalls that dot the province of Bohol and perhaps. Arguably, it is the most accessible from the provincial capital of Tagbilaran City. The waters cascade through a layered wall dotted with small pods into a deep natural catch basin ideal for a swim. The pool reflects a beautiful turquoise color during dry and sunny days due to its limestone soil.

7. Snorkeling and Fish Feeding
For more aqua-ventures, go to Balicasag Island for a spectacular underwater encounter. This small island off the coast of Panglao is a marine sanctuary that is home to beautiful corals in shallow and deep waters. Here's what Baron The Explorer, a Filipino blogger, has to say about his experience: "What I saw underwater is beyond words to express, an inviting world of marine life and I was speechless and motionless."
