Corinthian Travel Launches Georgia Programme

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - March 14, 2019 - PRLog -- Middle East and North Africa specialist Corinthian Travel has launched a new programme to Georgia, one of the countries located within the southern Caucuses mountain range, where Western Asia meets Eastern Europe.

Formerly part of the USSR (a pro-independence movement led to the secession from the Soviet Union in 1991) the country offers much for the discerning tourist to discover with a natural scenic beauty and rich culture.

Georgia has a long and ancient history stretching back into the midst of time when legend holds that Jason and his Argonauts visited in search of the Golden Fleece.

Based in the capital Tbilisi, and mountainous Kazbegi, highlights will include a private city tour, an excursion to the 'Tuscan' hill town of Sighnaghi (with a wine tasting), and a drive along the Georgian Military Highway to the mountainous region of Kazbegi, to visit isolated Gergeti Trinity Church, with accommodation in the Alpine-style boutique Rooms Hotel Kazbegi.
