Long-Established Architectural Firm Honored For Its Business Practices
By: Michael Menn Ltd.
While Menn and his staff are honored to be recognized for the award, the AABE award is significant because it will be presented in recognition of the firm's business practices. Menn has received numerous design awards over the course of his 40 years as an architect, but this award will be presented based on the firm's policies of transparency, honesty and client satisfaction. According to Menn, "When providing our professional services to clients, we adhere to a strict policy of transparency. Clients are kept abreast of all issues and expenses upfront. We also offer new clients the opportunity to speak with our past and current clients. Our clients are our best referrals," he said.
Michael Menn is a licensed residential and commercial architect in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Arizona, and has reciprocity in more than 40 other states. He is a former president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago. He has held offices at the National Association of Home Builders and is a member of The American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and National Kitchen and Bath Association. Menn earned Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Master of Architectural Engineering, and Master of Architectural Design degrees from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) through the National Association of Home Builders.
